The Sundance Ranch was the location of the 4th Annual Cal West Boer Connection Production Sale held on September 16th, 2006. Shadow Ridge Ranch, Sue Erickson & Richard Oliveira, of Fresno, Wildflower Meat Goats, Ken & Shirley Thompson, of Snelling and Sundance Kids, Walt & Chris and Louie & Heidi Schallberger, of Lodi were the hosts of the event. Nestled in the heart of the wine country in Lodi, California, over two hundred goat enthusiasts attended to view, enjoy a delicious BBQ goat lunch and bid on 79 lots of quality fullblood, purebred and percentage goats, that our ranches put together. The 10 bucks and 69 does averaged $822.00 per head. Cliff & Marilyn Burke of Ewetopia Farms, Oakland, OR consigned two beautiful does to our sale as the volume buyers at the 2005 sale. This year our volume buyers were Brian & Alicia Noftz of Butte Valley, CA, and will be our guest consigners at our 2007 sale. Shadow Ridge Ranch had the high selling buck and doe in the sale. The March doe kid, SRR1 G44 a Stetson/Powell Holman 22S daughter was auctioned for $3,100.00 to Debbie Lokka, Top of the Hill Boers of Sebatapol, CA. The high selling March buck kid, SRR1 G35 a Stetson/Powell Holman 395S son was sold for $2,250.00 to Kelly Roth, of Miller Moth Ranch in Paso Robles, CA. Selected Photos of the sale
